Through gentle routines, sensory-rich activities, and a strong emphasis on trust-building interactions, we promote security and early learning milestones. Toddler Care

Our toddler care programme is designed to foster independence, curiosity, and social interaction in tamariki aged 1 to 3. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we create an environment that encourages exploration and discovery through child-led learning. With age-appropriate activities and a structured yet flexible routine, we nurture toddlers’ natural curiosity and creativity. Our kaiako guide tamariki through imaginative play, early learning experiences, and social interactions, helping them build confidence and develop key skills that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. At Your Place Childcare, the principles of Reggio Emilia are woven throughout our programmes, ensuring every child is viewed as capable and resourceful.

Early Intervention Support

At Your Place, we prioritise early intervention when needed and have strong links with the Ministry of Education’s Learning Support Team. This enables us to provide access to services like early intervention teachers, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, child psychologists, and more.
